Jared Hossack, M.D.

Dr. Jared Hossack is board-certified in both
gastroenterology and internal medicine.  He
completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the
University of Chicago Medical Center, where he
was appointed the chief fellow in his final year.  
He completed his residency training at the Beth
Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, a
Harvard Medical College-affiliated hospital.  Prior to
residency, he earned a joint MD/MBA degree from
Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree from
Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude.  

Dr. Hossack has particular interests in researching ways to improve the quality of
care provided to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. He has published articles
and presented abstracts on a variety of topics including quality of care issues in
medicine, healthcare economics and liver disease. He is also an active member of
the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological
Association.  

Dr. Hossack has returned to the Delaware valley to practice gastroenterology and
to be close to family and friends.  He is a focused, enthusiastic physician who
values his relationship with patients and encourages patient participation in the
healthcare process. He strives to provide the highest quality of care to all of his
patients through technical skill, knowledge, empathy and compassion.
